Director of Business Development joins Big
(Hendrix tune gets stuck in our brain)

If you’re anything like us, you can only say “Hey, Joe” so many times before the classic Hendrix song starts playing on infinite repeat inside your head. So it is in the spirit of fiery revolution and groundbreaking innovation that we introduce you to Joe DeLoria, who joined us two days ago as our Director of Business Development.
Joe brings more than ten years of experience in marketing as an account manager and business development executive to his role at Big. In addition to developing new client relationships, Joe specializes in sustaining and building existing relationships through his expertise in marketing strategy development; project management; creative team leadership; event management; sales staff training; research; and consultation in database marketing, mailing list development, and search engine optimization.
“The relationship with the client always comes first,” says Joe. “Before any project begins, before any strategy is developed, you have to build a real rapport, based on mutual respect, that only comes from really listening to the client. All the research in the world is no substitute for hearing what the client has to say.”
A member of the American Marketing Association, the Richmond Ad Club, the National Council on Aging, the National Association of Home Builders, and other professional marketing associations, Joe holds a B.A. from James Madison University.
Although Joe’s many talents do not include incendiary guitar thrashing in the style of Jimi, he might be persuaded to sing a few bars of “Purple Haze” if you ask him nicely. So give him a call or send him an email and say hey. Who knows? You might get your own personal concert. 804.355.9151, joe@bigaddress.com.

I do in fact live in a red house. But unlike the Red House of Jimi fame, the wind at my house cries Amy, not Mary.

I think Joes is going to be a great addition to BIG and I wish him all the success in the world. He is a great guy to work with.

Welcome, Joe. You’re joining a good group with a great heritage.
I must be out of synch or something. “I Ain’t Gonna Work on Maggie’s Farm No More” keeps running thru my mind today.
