New creative director not so new

Mike Shackelford, the new vice president and creative director here at Big, has actually been with us about three months, but since our new website had yet to launch when he came on board, allow us to introduce him online now. Most recently at CarMax, where he served as a creative manager for the auto retailer’s 2008 website revamp, Mike has nearly two decades experience as an award-winning creative director, copywriter, and web developer in Richmond’s ad community. We’re excited to have his help leading our team, and hope you have a chance to meet him soon.
I’ve met Mike!
And he’s, well, big — as in big mind, big ideas, and yes, I’ll make you blush, Mike: big heart.
Yay for this new website! Very very cool.

Already having the pleasure of meeting Mike, I can tell he’s going to bring great things to BIG. I’m sold – Best of luck with the new ventures, friends!

Congrats to all the stellar team at Beatley Gravitt. The new website and brand will help advance and imprint cuttinge-edge marketing “genius” while building on the outstanding reputation of the founders. “BIG” is definitely cool and appropriately captures the great work going on at the firm. Way to go, Ed, Mike, Beth, Chuck, John and the cast of thousands!

Way to go Mike!
Wishing you all all the best in the coming year and a blessed holiday.
I’ve worked with Mike for many years and look forward to working with him again (I hope) in 2009

I wanted to go back and comment on an older post because whenever I see comments about older posts, it always makes me feel good that people are actually going through the blog to read it. But now that I told you my intentions, I think it kind of ruins it. Whoops.
